Hongkong
Road:
Running through the eastern coastal area, once named
as Zhanliugan Road, the road now is named Hongkong road
in memory of Hongkong's transition to China in 1997.
The May 4th Square:
The May 4th Square got its name in memory of the May
4th Movement. Located between the new municipal government
building and the bay, it is composed of the Shizhengting
Square, the central square and the coastal park that
make a feature of the lawn an the shade square. These
three parts have their own features and the whole square
is a combination of local Qingdao features and modern
flavours.

New Municipal Government Building:
This building is located on Hong Kong Central
Road in the eastern modern metropolis sightseeing
area, Qingdao
World Trade Center:
Located at No.6 Hong Kong Central Road and with
an area of 1,216 square meters and the total investment
of 5 billion yuan, Qingdao World Trade Center
is composed of 33-story Economy and Trade Office
Building, 23-story Foreign Tradesman Flats and
Office Building, Square Fountain and Tennis Court.
This building is the center of international business
activities and the window of international trade
of Qingdao.

Sightseeing TV Tower: 
Qingdao Sightseeing TV Tower, honored as "the
No.1 Steel Tower in China", is located on the
top of 116-meter-high Taiping Hill in Julin Hill
Park. With a height of 232 meters, it is the highest
scenic spot in Qingdao. It takes 52 seconds to the
130-meter-high "Emerald" ball-shaped tower
by the high-speed elevator. The rolling silver-colored
flying -saucer-shaped hall provides you a bird's
eye view of the city. On the top of the tower, there
is a 230 square meter' sightseeing platform. Besides,
a mini-cinema, a relaxation bar, cultural display
and tourist shopping will satisfy you.
The Ocean Park:
This park is located in Shilaoren National Holiday
Resort. With an estimated investment of 1.1 billion
yuan, it is the biggest ocean park in China. It
is composed of 8 planned tourist areas such as the
main Entrance Square, the Ocean World, the Happy
Ocean, the Navigation Movement, the Life Service,
the Ocean Sports and the Lucky Island, with more
than 20 programs. The Dolphin garden in the Ocean
World and the Ocean Entertainment in the Happy Ocean
area are very popular with tourists.
Ocean
Entertainment Park:
Qingdao Ocean Amusement Park, one of the biggest
in China, started its operation in August, 1996
with an investment of 90 million yuan. The park
is divided into two parts: water area and land area
with more than 30 programs. The second and third
period of construction with the total investment
of 2 billion yuan will soon start.
Dolphin
park:
Constructed in May 1995, it is the first Dolphin
Park in China. It covers an area of 40 thousand
square meters with 2500 seats. You can enjoy the
dolphins` performance while learning some knowledge
through various pictures and models.
Granite
Mansion (Huashilou):
Huashilou, blended with Roman and Gothic styles,
is situated in the east of badaguan scenic spot.
Originally it was the German governors` villa for
fishing, hunting and relaxing. Now it serves as
a guesthouse for tourists from both home and abroad.
Pine-trees and various kinds of flowers covering
every corner of its 3000 square meters yard create
a graceful environment.

3、Scenic Spot in
the suburb
Tianheng
Island:
Situated in Hengmen bay of the Yellow Sea, Tianheng
Island is a famous historic island covering an area
of 1.46 square kilometers. It was named after the
hero Tianheng of the early Han Dynasty who committed
suicide for dignity and loyalty. Now Tianheng Island
has become a perfect place for recreation.
Jingshan Fort:
Constructed by German Army in 1905, as the command
center of Qingdao garrison, Jingshan Fort is big
in scale and well-preserved. Jingshan Fort has an
area of 1,600 square meters with 3 stories. It is
divided into three parts: underground command area,
living area and rear supply area. Besides, there
are south and north forts and replicas of some big
guns on the mountain. Qingdao Municipal Government
designated it as the permanent educational base
of patriotism and special tourism scenic spot.
Ancient Jimo City:
The Ancient Jimo City was built on the city of
today¨s Dazhumao, Guyan town Pingdu city during
the Spring and Autumn Period. The present Jimo city
was rebuilt in the Sui Dynasty. Having gone through
thousands of years, the ancient city and more than
380 ancient tombs built in the Warring States Period
still exist.
